(the title is more fun when you sing it)
I'd like to hear some praise in this little corner of the world wide web. Let's talk about what God's been doing in the past week or two. Share a story, an enlightenment, how God revealed Himself, some random blessing. Did you learn something about yourself, about God, read a passage differently, make a new friend, experience grace? Something God has done in your life recently that could inspire us all to look up with eyes of gratitude, maybe raise a hand upward and even let out a little "hallelujah". Comments are open, post one.
You. Yes, you.
I'll get the ball rolling and I hope that you'll join me in this experience of sharing Gods good stuff!
ReplyDeleteToday God allowed me to see how ugly I am when I accept the enemy's lies, that when I become the focus of my life I resemble Satan more than Christ. But God is so good and has placed someone in my life who calls me on it and points my eyes back to Jesus. I praise God for grace abundant.
And also that my man can grill a really good steak. Hallelujah for good food :)
I am exciting that God has been moving frequently in my life. He has been encouraging and asking me to step out of my comfort zone lately. Asking me to share my testimony in groups and help lead a Bible study. Things that I don't feel comfortable doing or think that I would be good at. But, I rely on Him and am able. Praise to God for meeting us in our insufficiency. Bringing Him glory when we do His will. :o)
ReplyDeleteAlso thankful for the joy we've had from our new puppy. I NEED to remember that especially when he has a little accident! Which is down to about 1 day (and my fault for waiting too long to take him out) :o)
Also thankful this summer that Amanda, my niece, asked Jesus to live in her heart. And, after 3 months of drilling her with Truth, saw a huge improvement in her attitude and speech. It was a 3 month ministry. Praise to God that one more soul is going to heaven.
Also, praise for Ken and I recently celebrating our 3 year anniversary. It sounds like such a small number, but it such a huge blessing. With God's help, we have build this marriage and family from two broken relationships. It has not always been rainbows and unicorns, but it is good. God has guided us through, and blessed our choices to trust and follow Him.
Praise to God for all the wonderful things in all our lives. For all the sweet, healthy new babies. For all the friendships. And the laughter.
